Stop Hand Gun Violence wanted to highlight the disturbing ease in which criminals can buy weapons from U.S gun shows. Known as the “gun show loophole,” most states do not require background checks for firearms purchased at gun shows from private individuals. Designed to provoke conversation, this awareness campaign included an outdoor billboard, digital projections, a web facelift, and wild-postings. It was featured on America's largest billboard and ran for over three years outside Fenway Park in Boston. It was graffitied, photographed and repeatedly shared over social media, as well as covered by multiple publications.
